Demolition works project manager

Function

As Project Manager of Demolition Works, you are the central figure within projects in the demolition field.

You ensure that everything on site runs efficiently and safely, keep an eye on deadlines and budgets, and encourage your team and subcontractors to deliver quality work. You are the point of contact in the field and ensure that everything is done according to plan and regulations.

What you do:

• Coordinate demolition and remediation projects from start to completion.
• Managing site supervisors, workers and subcontractors.
• Prepare work plans and manage technical files.
• Strict adherence to planning, safety and budgets.
• Ensure correct administration and clear communication with customers, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with environmental legislation, safety regulations and mandatory approvals.
• Report regularly to the project manager or director of operations on project progress.

Profile

Who are we looking for:

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (e.g. architecture, environment,...) or equivalent experience.
• You will bring at least 5 years' experience in demolition, remediation or asbestos projects, including work preparation and site monitoring.
• You know the relevant environmental, safety and quality legislation.
• Experience with planning tools, site administration and managing (sub)contractors is a plus.
• You are a fluent communicator even in complex situations.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and work accurately.
• You combine a hands-on mentality with analytical insight.
• Flexibility and adaptability characterise you, as does a pronounced focus on safety and quality.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and French.

For their demolition department, they are looking for reinforcement, more specifically a project leader. You will work operationally from the region of Flanders, Brussels, Wallonia to Limburg.

• A 40-hour/week regime, with 20 statutory leave days and 12 catch-up rest days;
