Dispatcher

Function

As a dispatcher, you are the central point of contact responsible for ensuring that all shipments run smoothly and efficiently, guiding drivers, monitoring shipments and responding quickly to changes.

• Providing support to drivers and answering their questions
• Proactive monitoring and adjustment of shipments
• Ensuring clear communication with the warehouse, drivers and customers
• Adjusting and managing the daily dispatch schedule
• Checking transport documents and recording discrepancies
• Monitoring compliance with driving and rest periods, transport regulations and CMRs
• Contributing ideas on how to improve dispatch processes

Profile

We are looking for a driven organiser who can keep a clear overview in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Experience as a dispatcher, transport planner or in the logistics sector
• Remains calm and keeps a clear overview, even under pressure
• Strong at communicating clearly with drivers, colleagues and customers
• Solution-oriented, decisive and responsible
• Works with precision and strives for quality and efficiency
• Goede kennis van Nederlands gesproken en geschreven en praktische kennis van Frans en Engels
• Experience in the transport sector or the food industry is an advantage, but not essential
