Are you looking for a dynamic and challenging role in which you can showcase your skills? As a Freight Forwarding Agent, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating shipments. For our vacancy as an air freight forwarding agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Route and delivery of all types of cargo
• Your clients and/or agents are very diverse and located all over the world.
• You maintain intensive contact both with customers and suppliers.
• Operational tasks: making reservations with airlines and/or their representatives
• Preparation of documents export air freight
• Preparing transport documents
• Customs: preparation of customs documents / certificates for air freight imports
• Administrative tasks: general administration and invoicing

In short, you can expect an a-z story within freight forwarding where you will have the opportunity to interact with all steps of the process. You will perform these tasks in a self-written ERP system that is very easy to learn.

Profile

Get your logistics career off to a flying start with us as a Freight Forwarder. These are the qualifications we are looking for:

• You have at least 3–5 years’ experience in freight forwarding
• Knowledge or experience of air cargo
• Excellent communication skills
• Stress-resistant and solution-oriented
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English
• Knowledge of customs processes
