Mechanical Design Engineer

Function

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing industrial agitators and mixers. These agitators are essential to customers' production processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Study sketches from engineers and customers.
• Collect missing data and advise on draft elaboration.
• Designing concepts with Inventor.
• Maintain and manage files and archives.
• Gathering information on standards and subject area development methods.
• You will work closely with internal colleagues and, occasionally, customers.
• The pieces you design are unique components, often based on existing designs that you further refine and customise.

Profile

Our ideal profile preferably meets the requirements below:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in electromechanics or related technical studies.
• Very good knowledge of 3D CAD software, ideally Inventor.
• Driven team spirit and organisational skills.
• Pragmatic approach with a no nonsense mentality.
• Very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Organisation

This company specialises in designing and manufacturing industrial agitators/mixers for various industries. These mixers are the heart of production for their customers' processes. It is a family business with around 24 employees. Their office/production is located in Zwijndrecht. Due to growth, they are currently looking for reinforcement in the design team.
