Operational buyer

Function

As an operational buyer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• You optimise inventory and monitor stock levels;
• You select and coordinate purchases and subcontracts;
• You will communicate with suppliers and subcontractors - internally you will mainly be in contact with production;
• You assess the quality and performance of suppliers;
• You provide support to the lead buyer in terms of strategic purchasing activities, contract negotiations and optimisations.

Profile

Are you the operational buyer we are looking for?

• You have initial experience as an operations buyer or hold a bachelor's degree in logistics management;
• You express yourself fluently in Dutch, French (written + oral) and English;
• You are comfortable with MS-Office and knowledge of ERP is a plus;
• You are communicatively strong and flexible.

Our client is located in Mouscron.
