Pricing Analyst

Function

As Pricing Analyst Based in Antwerp, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and optimising rates and cost data within the sea freight sector. You will ensure that pricing processes run correctly, efficiently and with a view to the future, so that commercial and operational teams can rely on accurate data and the smooth implementation of agreements.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of data, pricing and logistics processes. You will support the ongoing digitalisation of rate management and contribute to the consistent and high-quality processing of rates, contracts and cost information across various systems.

• You manage rates, contracts and cost data across multiple systems.
• You are responsible for ensuring that rates and costs are entered accurately and on time.
• You will support and optimise automated pricing and costing processes.
• You will liaise closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure prices are implemented correctly.
• You analyse data and identify opportunities for optimisation and digitalisation.
• You will ensure the quality and consistency of pricing data.
• You investigate and resolve issues within rate management systems.
• You reconcile global accounts and convert them to local pricing.
• You will play an active part in implementing improvements that enhance the efficiency and reliability of processes.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for an analytical and meticulous professional who enjoys delving into sea freight, pricing and data. Ideally, you will already have gained some relevant experience and be keen to develop your skills further within an international and highly collaborative environment.

• You have at least two years’ experience in sea freight, pricing or logistics operations.
• You have strong analytical skills and work with great attention to detail.
• You are familiar with Excel and MS Office.
• You are a good communicator and enjoy working with various stakeholders.
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• You are proactive and contribute ideas on improvements and automation.
• You can work in a structured manner in an environment where deadlines and data quality are important.
• You are keen to learn and have an interest in systems, pricing logic and logistics processes.
