Food product developer

Function

As a Product Developer, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to the taste experience of millions of people worldwide. At the heart of the development team, this person is a crucial link, where flavour sense and technical expertise can be fully utilised.

The main tasks include developing new products and improving existing products within the range of dessert sauces, fruit preparations and fillings (such as chocolate, caramel and fruit). The Product Developer follows projects from development to production, working creatively and hands-on, experimenting with new raw materials and ingredients.

Profile

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in industrial sciences, with a specialisation in food, bioengineering or a related field.
• You have several years' experience in a similar position, or within R&D, where you were involved in developing recipes or products.

Skills

• Accurate and able to work independently.
• Hands-on mindset: developing recipes, experimenting in the lab and problem-solving.
• Perseverance and motivation to face challenges.
• Affinity with manufacturing and food legislation.
• Be able to translate customer needs into manufacturable products within an industrial environment.
• Good knowledge in Dutch.

Organisation

The company specialises in producing semi-finished products for the food sector, especially for desserts and dairy applications. It makes ice cream paste, dessert sauces and fruit preparations, among others.
