Production Administration & Quality Officer
Function
You combine a strong administrative approach with a keen interest in production and quality. No two days are quite the same, but your main responsibilities are:
- You draw up labels and Bills of Materials (BOMs) and keep them up to date at all times.
- You ensure that the correct labels and production information are ready in good time for daily production.
- You carefully check product details, specifications and allergen information.
- You will assist the quality department with spot checks and quality controls.
- You will take swab samples and ensure that the results are recorded and reported correctly.
- You will manage administrative documents within the quality management system, such as HACCP, traceability and labelling.
- You will record and monitor production data in collaboration with the production and back-office teams.
- You will assist with audits and internal checks.
- You’ll play an active role in exploring how we can make our administrative processes and working methods even better, smarter and more efficient.
In short: you ensure that the paperwork is in order, that the information is available, and that production can run smoothly without any unnecessary obstacles.
Profile
- You have strong administrative skills and are very meticulous in your work.
- You have a qualification or experience in the food industry, quality management or production administration.
- Knowledge of food legislation and labelling is an advantage.
- You are proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- You speak and write Dutch to an excellent standard and have a basic knowledge of English.
- You like things to be just right, right down to the smallest detail.
- You are organised, methodical and good at setting priorities.
- You can work independently, but you’re also a real team player.
- You stay calm when you’re faced with several things at once.
- You communicate openly, professionally and in a solution-focused manner.
- You have an eye for quality and enjoy contributing ideas for improvements.
Organisation
A B2B company in the chocolate and food industry. They mainly manufacture and supply chocolate decorations, chocolate inclusions, toppings and other chocolate products, both standard and fully bespoke. They focus on professional customers such as food manufacturers, bakers, confectioners and other businesses that incorporate chocolate into their products.
They have a modern production and storage facility in Turnhout. Among other things, semi-industrial chocolate products and decorations are produced, packaged and delivered worldwide from there. The company combines its own production with a network of specialist partners so that it can also offer customers bespoke solutions
Offer
- Full-time contract, 40 hours per week, flexible working hours
- 20 days’ leave, 12 ADV days
- Salary supplemented by meal vouchers worth €10 per day worked, hospitalisation and group insurance, etc.
