Project Engineer

Function

As a Project Engineer, you are the link between technical complexity and practical applications within a progressive company active in energy-efficient climate systems. Below is a sample of your tasks:

• Contribute technical solutions to innovative projects and implementation plans
• Performing heat loss calculations, hydraulic schemes and EED (energy efficiency) analyses.
• Creating concrete designs that comply with current standards and regulations.
• Technical point of contact for internal colleagues (product management, sales,...) and external stakeholders such as customers.
• Support and prepare technical documentation such as EBP sheets and specifications essential for project management and product launches.
• Identify needs within ongoing projects and optimise tools to ensure more efficient processing of files.
• Working closely with professionals such as wholesalers and installers in the project market, using your expertise in HVAC, heat pumps and ventilation systems to translate technical choices to them clearly and convincingly.

Profile

To make a difference as a Project Engineer, we expect:

• Already a first relevant experience, preferably in calculations within heat pumps, HVAC or a related field.
• A technically strong background with knowledge of heat loss calculations, hydraulic schemes and project documentation management.
• Bilingualism: fluent in Dutch and French.
• Customer-focused, with the ability to convey complex technical information understandably and persuasively.
• Willingness to visit installers and wholesalers in the residential market if required.
• Experience in supporting sales activities and hands-on estimations.

Candidates with a strong foundation in electrical systems or HVAC are encouraged to apply.

Organisation

This company operates in energy-efficient indoor climate systems. This includes heat pumps, and ventilation systems for the residential market. They are part of a Dutch group where most of their products are also produced. In Belgium, they have a sales and after-sales branch with around 35 employees.

Moreover, they are very committed to sustainability and aim to produce energy neutrally by 2030. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a project engineer.
