Sales Engineer

Function

• You will be responsible for the commercial development of the Wallonia region.
• You will support customers in developing comprehensive technical solutions and production lines, fully tailored to their needs.
• You analyse the client’s technical challenges and translate them into a suitable solution.
• You build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers in a professional manner.
• You will actively seek out new opportunities and carry out targeted prospecting within your region.
• You will support customers throughout the entire sales process, from needs analysis to quotation and delivery.
• Together with clients, you will visit production sites and machine manufacturers in Germany to evaluate machines and solutions in a real-world setting.
• You will work closely with your in-house technical colleagues and will be based at the head office in Bruges for an average of one day a week.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree or an engineering degree in Electromechanics.
• You have relevant experience in a technical-commercial role in which you managed complex investment projects.
• You have an excellent knowledge of French and can communicate fluently in English.
• You have a basic knowledge of Dutch; knowledge of German would be an advantage.
• You have a strong technical aptitude and work with the customer to find solutions.
• You are a reliable discussion partner who inspires confidence and knows how to build long-term customer relationships.
• You are sociable, a good communicator and thrive on customer contact.
• You are enterprising, enthusiastic and driven to create new opportunities.
• You are willing to travel regularly within Wallonia and occasionally to Germany.
