Technical planner for after-sales service – external joinery

Function

As Technical Planner, After-Sales Service at Heist-op-den-Berg You will be the main point of contact for repair requests and the scheduling of after-sales technicians for windows and doors. You will combine technical expertise with strong administrative skills and ensure that cases are handled correctly, efficiently and with a focus on the customer.

In this role, you will keep track of several enquiries at once and translate technical reports into clear courses of action, quotations and agreements. You will liaise seamlessly with customers, technicians, the warehouse and the invoicing department, and monitor the progress of each case from start to finish.

Your duties will include:

• process, record and follow up on requests for repair work;
• provide technical advice to clients and determine the appropriate next steps;
• drawing up quotations for repairs and monitoring them closely;
• scheduling after-sales service technicians to work on-site according to priority and availability;
• process and confirm appointments made by telephone and in writing;
• process orders and monitor their progress;
• dealing with complaints professionally and working together to find a suitable solution;
• work closely with colleagues in planning, the warehouse, technical services and invoicing.

You work in a structured manner, think ahead and maintain high standards of planning and communication even at busy times. Thanks to your approach, customers receive clarity quickly and every repair is organised efficiently.

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a technically proficient planner with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role or in a technical environment with significant administrative responsibility. You should ideally have a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Construction or have completed a similar technical course, and you’re ready for a role that combines customer focus, planning and technical follow-up.

• you have relevant experience in planning, technical administration or after-sales service;
• you communicate clearly, professionally and fluently, both verbally and in writing;
• you are customer-focused, able to cope with stress and solution-oriented;
• you work accurately and in a structured manner, and are able to maintain an overview of complex cases;
• you have strong analytical skills and are good with figures;
• You are able to work independently, but also work well as part of a team;
• you liaise easily with colleagues from different departments;
• You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365;
• knowledge of external joinery, windows and doors is an asset;
• You are willing to take responsibility and assess priorities correctly.
