Technical Service Support Engineer
Function
As a Technical Service Support Engineer, you are the driving force behind technical support for customers in the pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. You play a key role by advising and guiding customers, service teams and sales colleagues on a wide range of technical issues. Thanks to your expertise, systems continue to perform at their best and you contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction within this forward-thinking sector.
Your tasks:
- You will provide technical support to Service Account Managers and regional teams throughout the entire sales process;
- You analyse customer needs and advise on the appropriate components and modifications;
- You will develop spare parts kits, draft service and maintenance documentation, and draw up maintenance plans;
- You will provide remote technical support to customers and field service engineers worldwide;
- You will draw up technical proposals for equipment upgrades and modifications;
- You will contribute to technical training sessions for both clients and internal colleagues;
- You will work alongside experts to resolve complaints, claims and complex technical issues quickly.
Profile
For this Technical Service Support role, we are looking for someone with:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in (electrical) mechanical engineering, process engineering or another technical discipline;
- Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment (OSD is an advantage);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern digital tools, including AI-powered systems;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
- Understanding and interpreting technical documents, drawings, diagrams and P&IDs;
- Experience in spare parts management, service operations or after-sales support is an advantage.
