Transport Co-ordinator

Function

As a Transport Coordinator in Wortegem-Petegem, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our logistics operations. Your role is twofold:

• Administration: You will be responsible for planning transport operations, drawing up consignment notes and CMRs, maintaining the Excel spreadsheets and handling emails. In doing so, you will work closely with the dispatchers at their own transport company.
• Controlling loaders: You will ensure that consignments are loaded on time and correctly, support the loaders with a focus on safety and quality, assist them with any queries and optimise stock levels where necessary.

You work accurately and independently, and can cope well under pressure. In this role, you’ll contribute to the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and be an indispensable part of our success.

Profile

We are looking for a motivated professional who meets the following criteria:

• Must hold at least an A2 qualification or equivalent through experience.
• Experience of operating an overhead crane is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Proficient in the most commonly used computer programmes.
• You can get on with it in French and English.
• Hands-on, dynamic and able to cope with pressure.
• A meticulous and independent approach to work, with an eye for detail.

The commute must not exceed 45 minutes, and working from home is not an option.
