Claims Manager

Function

As a claims handler, you are the main point of contact for customers when a claim arises.

Your duties will include:

• Managing and following up on claims from start to finish
• Recording, analysing and assessing claims files
• Maintaining contact with clients, insurers, experts and other relevant parties
• Advising clients throughout the entire claims process
• Processing and following up on cases in an administratively correct manner
• Seeking pragmatic and efficient solutions
• Active management of a client portfolio
• Helping to develop ideas for optimising claims management processes

Profile

For this role, we are looking for a candidate who recognises themselves in the following characteristics:

• Bachelor level of thinking or equivalent through experience
• Experience in claims management, insurance or claims handling
• Knowledge of insurance products and claims processes
• Strong communication skills
• A customer-focused and solution-oriented approach
• Accurate and administratively strong
• Stress-resistant and able to prioritise
• A proactive attitude and a sense of responsibility
• A positive attitude and a healthy dose of team spirit
