Customer Service Specialist

Function

Are you a real problem solver and an excellent communicator? For our site in Ternat (Flemish Brabant, Belgium), we are looking for a Customer Service Specialist who gets energy from providing top service.

In this varied role, you will play a key role between customers and internal departments, aiming to ensure an excellent customer experience. Your duties include:

• Support and advise customers via phone and email on a daily basis, including taking orders;
• Guide customers in using our online ordering platform and provide support where needed;
• Proactive thinking on digitalisation and process optimisation;
• Ensure proper administrative follow-up to build strong trusting relationships with customers;
• Regular communication with customers to inform them of promotions, promotions and product changes, with commercial focus;
• Act as troubleshooter and collaborate with other departments, such as commerce, dispatch and finance;
• Participate in ad hoc projects, such as the implementation of a new ERP system.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications and skills:

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and French, both written and oral;
• Proactive attitude and no fear of approaching customers by phone;
• A service-oriented and customer-oriented mindset;
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a commercial environment and/or the hospitality industry;
• Quick learning ability and affinity with digital tools and programmes;
• Team player with a hands-on mentality and initiative;
• Stress-resistant, solution-oriented and accurate;
• Positive mindset and a healthy dose of humour to fit well into the team.
