Solutions Engineer

Function

As a Solution Engineer, you will be the driving force behind innovative, valuable automation solutions for customers. You work closely with Sales to analyse customer needs and design well thought-out, tailor-made concepts that are both technically and economically feasible. Your keen insights and expertise make the difference in creating intralogistics solutions that contribute to operational and strategic objectives. With your communication skills, you will confidently present technical solutions to customers and work with various teams to build seamless implementations and strengthen our solution portfolio.

Main responsibilities:

• Analysing and interpreting customer needs and formulating tailor-made intralogistics concepts.
• Develop technical and economic solutions by using in-house and third-party technologies.
• Calculating and validating business cases, including design, costing and timelines.
• Direct contact with customers to present technical solutions convincingly.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Service and R&D for perfect alignment.
• Actively contribute to standardisation, quality improvement and process optimisation.

Profile

To excel in this position, we are looking for a driven professional with a strong combination of technical expertise and customer focus. You are analytically strong, have good communication skills and a pragmatic attitude. You know how to translate complex concepts into clear solutions for customers. In addition, you have the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Automation or similar field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual capabilities, with a balance between technical depth and commercial acumen.
• Proven experience in solution design and collaboration with Sales in a customer-facing, consultative role.
• Skill in communication and presentation of complex technical solutions.
• Experience with solution design and simulation tools is a plus.
• Customer-oriented, collaborative and taking responsibility are your strengths.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
