For our client in Lummen We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers and internal teams within a dynamic logistics environment. You will closely monitor transport orders, ensure they are carried out correctly and intervene promptly should any issues arise. Through your meticulous follow-up and customer-focused approach, you will ensure that cases are handled smoothly, correctly and professionally.

Your key responsibilities:

• Monitoring transport orders and ensuring they are carried out correctly and on time.
• Identifying, analysing and dealing with irregularities such as damage, delays and shortfalls.
• Act as the first point of contact for customers, drivers and internal departments.
• Managing complaints and claims files in accordance with the applicable procedures.
• Ensuring accurate administrative follow-up and clear reporting.
• Actively contributing ideas on improvements to processes, quality and service.
• Maintaining clear communication in an environment where speed and precision go hand in hand.

Profile

For the position of Customer Service Employee at our client’s premises in Lummen We are looking for a professional with strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach, with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within transport, logistics or customer service in an operational context. You understand the importance of maintaining an overview, setting priorities and, at the same time, working accurately under time pressure.

You feel at home in an environment where collaboration, quality and a customer-focused approach are key. You switch effortlessly between administrative tasks, follow-up work and liaising with various stakeholders, and you adopt a solution-oriented approach when challenges arise.

Your profile:

• You have relevant experience in customer service, transport or logistics support.
• You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• You are customer-friendly, service-oriented and solution-focused.
• You can manage several cases and tasks at the same time without losing sight of the details.
• You have strong analytical skills and take appropriate action in the event of discrepancies or complaints.
• You are meticulous, able to cope with pressure and flexible, and you work in a dynamic environment.
• You speak Dutch fluently; knowledge of French is an advantage.
• You have good administrative skills and are confident using digital systems and reporting tools.

Offer

For the position of Customer Service Employee offers our client in Lummen the following package:

• A gross salary based on experience, ranging from €3,000 to €3,500.
• Meal vouchers worth €9 per day worked.
